Note from the Maker: My name is Kata and I'm the owner & maker behind Black Moon Botanics! I make small batch, botanical soap in my studio in the Sandpaper Factory in Rockland, MA. As a sensitive skin gal, I saw first hand how natural, cold process soaps absolutely changed the game for my skin, and when my favorite soap maker stopped making my favorite bar, she graciously taught me how to do it, and that began my obsession with soap-making! My recipes are made with simple, skin-loving ingredients like cocoa and shea butters, olive oil and coconut oils, and are free from palm oil or any other filler ingredients. Like everything else I create, it all starts with my garden. I am constantly inspired by it- I grow as many of my own ingredients as I can, and draw inspiration from all that it gives. I use home grown botanicals to infuse my oils, as well as to decorate their tops with. They get their coloring from the plant infused oils and natural clays, and they're scented with blends of essential oils and phthalate and paraban-free fragrances. Every bar has a little bit of my own garden in it and I love that I get to share that with everyone!
